Attack of the jacks. What Insert is right for you?
ICC's EZ jack is a proprietary design unlike your traditional keystone design and punch down layout. ICC's HD (High Density) style insert is the same form factor as your traditional keystone insert and fits in most of your traditional faceplates (Leviton, AllenTel, etc. and vice versa), biscuit jacks (surface mount boxes), etc. For those who prefer the keystone type of insert then stick with ICC's HD Jack, but for those looking for more room and simplicity to punch down, then go with their popular EZ insert model (short for easy installation). There is no difference in cost between the two types of inserts. There are supporting peripherals for both types of inserts to accommodate either style (patch panels, biscuit jacks, etc.). |
